Mark brought his years of baking experience FROM KENNY AND ZUKES to open his first food cart featuring bagels mixed, hand-rolled boiled and baked in the cart. At least 12 different types of bagels will be offered at one time along with spreads, breakfast and lunch sandwiches and , bagel chips and COFFEE, hot tea and hot chocolate. All bagels  $1.25 COFFEE $1.25  tea $1.25, sm cocoa $1.00

Our mission is to showcase the flavors of the Northwest woods by creating healthy meals using whole, locally-sourced, seasonal ingredients.  We cook exclusively in a wood-fired oven to ensure the most authentic flavors in each of our dishes. 

 

OUR CHEF : Brandon started his career in Minneapolis while attending culinary school. He quickly found his niche while working at the James Beard nominated Tilia under chef Steven Brown. While at Tilia, Brandon discovered how to create a menu that showcases his love for the outdoors and his passion for fresh, local ingredients.

April 4 is the soft opening of the Pub at Cartlandia , The Blue Room, with 17 Beers and one cider on Tap and a creative menu of pub favorites . We plan to be open 4- 11 pm at  first and see how it goes.

Cartlandia is hiring! Bartenders, Wait staff, maintenance/security personnel for new pub

After two years of planning and permits and construction, Cartlandia is nearly ready to open our new pub/restaurant.  Located in the large building on the Harney St. side, the pub has been lovingly crafted with reclaimed wood and parts salvaged .  It will be serving Oregon beer, wine and mixed drinks, a full bar and have food items.  We are looking for enthusiastic experienced people with great customer service skills to work in the pub.  Applicants need to be passionate about great customer service, excited about being part of a new business, willing to work hard and committed to being part of a team. Please look at the requirements and if you fit the bill, you can put your resume in on this web site at the contact us page (www.cartlandia.com/contact us). *Bartender : The ideal candidate has 3+ years experience working in the service industry, and is experienced and knowledgeable about Oregon beers, local wine  and mixing drinks.  This is a position for a person able to enthusiasticly greet customers, inform them about all the drink and food options, serve quickly and accurately ring up the charges. Personnel must be willing to work flexible hours, including nights and weekend and holidays, and able to stand, lift and carry and perform all the duties that also include clean-up, stocking and inventory. Candidate also needs to have OlCC server's license and DPSST certification to assist as door men for evening events . 21 years or older only 

 

Wait Staff/Servers:The Wait staff is the face of Cartlandia, and we are looking for friendly enthusiastic people with great customer service skills, willing to work flexible hours, including nights and weekend and holidays.  Staff will be able to lift and carry and perform the duties that also include clean-up, stocking and inventory. Applicants need to have experience waiting tables, have OLCC server’s permit and Multnomah County food handler’s permit. 21 years or older 

 

Maintenance/Security staff 

Personnel to help with lot clean-up, trash collection and recycling, pressure washing to clean the lot, assist in moving carts, and potted trees, and certified as security staff to assist with evening events .  Able to lift, carry, bend and stand for shift. Flexible and able to work weekends, holidays, DPSST certification required. 21 years or older.
